Are you a certified wedding planner?

Yes. We have been certified by the Wedding Planners Institute of Canada and the International Association of Destination Wedding Professionals.

How long have you been doing this?

A very long time. Tajrean, the founder and principal planner, has been planning events since her high school days (2005 onwards). She also worked for other wedding and event planning companies before starting her own. All team members are chosen carefully and are provided with additional training from Tajrean.

Question 3

Now that you're operating in Dubai, are you still booking events in Toronto and other areas?

Yes of course. It has been a dream to expand our business to Dubai and we are so grateful for the opportunity to produce events in both cities now. While Tajrean will continue to plan the Toronto events virtually, our team will take care of the on-site coordination of the events.

Do you offer destination wedding planning services?

We love planning destination weddings. From the Caribbean, to Europe, to the Middle East and Asia, we can plan anywhere.

Question 5

How many weddings do you book per weekend?

Accepted Answer

We book one wedding per weekend so we can ensure all of our time and attention is given to our client during that time. We book a limited number of weddings and events per year to maintain our level of service.

Question 6

Do we have to book only the vendors you recommend, or can we hire someone you haven't worked with before?

Accepted Answer

You have the freedom of hiring another vendor even if we haven't worked with them. However, we will also do our research and provide you with our feedback so you are aware of their pros and cons.

Question 7

Will you be present at vendor meetings and help us review vendor contracts?

Accepted Answer

Vendor contract reviews are included in all of our packages, while our presence at vendor meetings will depend on the package you book.

Question 8

Can I hand over all final payments to you for the vendors on the day of our event?

Accepted Answer

Yes, we will be able to distribute the final vendor payments. We will get the envelopes from you at our final consultation.

Question 9

Who will be on site the day of our wedding, and how many coordinators?

Accepted Answer

Dates are booked on a first-come, first-served basis. Tajrean gets booked at least 1.5 to 2 years in advance. The number of event associates depends on the number of guests and tasks throughout the event.

Question 10

Our ceremony is at a mosque and female team members are not permitted in the male section. How will you manage?

We are one of the only South Asian wedding planning companies in Toronto with male coordinators. We will create our team schedule accordingly.

Question 11

Will you coordinate delivery, arrival and set up times with all of our vendors?

Accepted Answer

Yes of course. This is part of all of our packages to ensure you have a smooth and stress-free event.

Question 12

What is your uniform?

Accepted Answer

Our team dresses professionally in our brand colours or black. Our team will cover heads for any religious ceremony or event, if required.

Question 13

In case of an emergency, who will be the backup planner and what are their qualifications?

We have multiple lead coordinators who have been trained by Tajrean. We will match a coordinator with your event needs. If our team isn't available, we will collaborate with other experienced planners in the industry.

Question 14

What time will you arrive and depart on the day of our wedding?

We arrive 2 to 3 hours before the event begins based on the number of tasks we have to complete before guests arrive. Our departure is 45 minutes to one hour after the last task on the event itinerary. For example, if your dancefloor opens at 10:00pm, we will depart at 11:00pm.

Do you offer set packages, or is everything customized?

We have numerous packages to choose from, but we can also customize a package based on what you're looking for.

Question 16

What is your payment policy and deposit?

Accepted Answer

We accept payments via email and bank transfers, cheques and credit cards (additional fee). A 50% payment is required to book our services and secure your dates. The final payment is due 7 to 10 days prior to your first event.
